Scope of these terms

These Terms of Use govern use of the website operated by Koppl Pipeline Services, LLC ("Koppl," "we," or "us"). By using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, discontinue use. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling in connection with the website.

General information, not project approval

Website content, photographs, case examples, specifications, and equipment descriptions provide general information. They are not engineering advice, an operating procedure, a safety plan, a guarantee of performance, or approval to perform work on a particular pipeline or facility. Published capabilities and past projects do not establish suitability for another application. Actual conditions, materials, pressures, temperatures, access, hazards, and requirements must be evaluated by qualified personnel before work is authorized.

Do not use website content or the assistant to direct field operations, make safety decisions, or respond to an emergency. A website message does not dispatch personnel or confirm availability.

Quotes, contracts, and separate companies

Browsing the website, contacting us, or preparing a project brief does not create a service contract, reserve equipment or personnel, confirm a price or schedule, or authorize work. Services require separate confirmation by authorized representatives. An executed service agreement governs the work it covers and takes priority over these website terms if there is a conflict. These terms do not amend an existing customer contract.

References to the ISS family or other companies describe a connected business network. They do not mean that Koppl and every listed company are the same legal entity, or that one company guarantees another company's services. Confirm the contracting entity and scope in the applicable agreement.

Automated project assistant

Ask Koppl uses artificial intelligence. Responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. They are not statements of an authorized engineer or a binding commitment by Koppl. Verify important information directly with Koppl. Review and correct any generated brief before using or sending it.

Do not enter confidential, regulated, sensitive, or third-party information that you are not authorized to disclose. Messages are processed by third-party AI and hosting services as described in the Privacy Policy. The assistant cannot accept an agreement, approve a method, provide emergency instructions, or guarantee service. A prepared brief is not emailed automatically; you choose whether to send it through your email application.

Permitted use and intellectual property

You may view the website and retain reasonable copies for your own lawful evaluation of Koppl's services, keeping copyright and other ownership notices intact. Website text, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, trademarks, and other materials belong to Koppl or their respective owners. Except for this limited use or uses permitted by law, no license or ownership right is granted. Do not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit protected material without the appropriate permission.

Do not interfere with the website, bypass access or rate limits, probe systems without authorization, distribute malicious code, impersonate another person, send unlawful or unsolicited material, or use automated tools to disrupt the service. Ordinary search-engine indexing consistent with published crawler instructions is not prohibited by this restriction.

These website disclaimers do not replace any express commitments made in a separate executed service agreement.

Limits on website liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Koppl and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, or data arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its content, even if advised of the possibility. This limitation concerns website use and does not change liability allocated under a separate executed service agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory statutory rights and remedies remain available. Where an exclusion or limitation is not allowed, it applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Updates and general provisions

Revisions will be posted here with an updated date and apply to subsequent website use to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not retroactively change an executed service agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
