About this policy

This policy describes how Koppl Pipeline Services, LLC ("Koppl," "we," or "us") handles information in connection with this website and inquiries made through its contact options. It does not describe every activity of the separate companies in the Industrial Specialty Services (ISS) network. Employment records and information handled under a separate customer agreement may be subject to additional notices or requirements.

Information we receive

• Contact and business information: your name, email address, phone number, employer, role, and other details you choose to provide when contacting us.
• Inquiry and project information: messages, correspondence, project location, operating conditions, and documents or other material you choose to send by email. Please share only information you are authorized to provide.
• Chat information: messages and conversation history entered into Ask Koppl, the page you are viewing, a session identifier, and project details used to prepare a brief.
• Technical and analytics information: website and hosting requests may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, referring pages, timestamps, and error or security information. Google Analytics measures website visits and interactions. The chat service uses IP addresses to limit abusive requests.

This information comes from you, your browser or device, and service providers that operate the website or deliver your communications.

How information is used and disclosed

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, evaluate potential work, prepare requested communications, measure website use, operate and troubleshoot the website, prevent misuse, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. Chat information is used to generate automated responses and prepare a project brief.

Information may be disclosed to hosting, communications, security, website support, and AI service providers as needed for those purposes. If you ask us to involve another service center or an ISS company, relevant inquiry information may be provided to that recipient. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect lawful rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or transfer of assets, subject to applicable law.

Ask Koppl and browser storage

Ask Koppl is an automated assistant, not a private consultation with a Koppl employee. Messages and conversation context are sent to the chat service and may be processed by Cloudflare Workers AI or Cerebras. Do not enter passwords, payment details, government identifiers, confidential drawings, or sensitive operational or personal information. Provider processing and retention depend on the applicable service arrangements; browser storage is not the only place where information may be processed.

The assistant stores conversation history in your browser's session storage so it remains available as you move between pages in that session. Browser settings and session restoration can affect how long it remains available. Clearing the site's browser storage removes that local copy, but does not delete information already processed by providers or sent by email.

A prepared project brief opens in your email application for you to review and send. The website does not automatically email the chat or brief to Koppl. Sending the email is a separate action; the email then becomes correspondence with its recipients.

Embedded services, cookies, and links

Cloudflare serves the website and chat service. Google Analytics runs on koppl.com and www.koppl.com to measure website use; we exclude URL query strings from the page and referrer addresses sent to it. Some pages load YouTube videos or Google Maps. These providers receive requests from your browser and may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies under their own policies. External links and embedded services can have different privacy practices. Review the Cloudflare privacy policy, Google privacy policy, and Cerebras privacy policy for information about those providers.

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser and use privacy controls offered by the relevant provider. Blocking storage or third-party content may affect chat, maps, or videos. This website does not currently provide a separate response to browser Do Not Track signals. Do Not Track is distinct from legally recognized opt-out preference signals, and nothing in this policy limits rights that applicable law gives you.

Retention, security, and processing locations

Retention depends on the type of information, the reason it was provided, the status of an inquiry or business relationship, provider arrangements, and applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. You can contact us about information associated with your inquiry or to request deletion where applicable.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the contact details below to report a privacy concern, and do not send sensitive material through ordinary chat or email. Koppl is based in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations; this policy does not promise that all processing occurs in one country.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, learn how it is used or disclosed, correct it, request deletion, or opt out of certain processing. California residents may also have rights concerning sale or sharing of personal information and certain uses of sensitive personal information where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions and do not depend on waiving other legal protections.

Describe the request and your relationship with Koppl without sending sensitive identification documents. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. If you disagree with a response, reply through the same contact method and request review or an appeal where provided by law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Children

This is an industrial business website and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through it. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
